Deean
Deean's musical career began on a grand piano in a small courtyard in Ascona, where he sat down and started playing on a late summer day. This moment changed his whole life and fulfilled the prophecy of all of his music teachers. His music enlivened Ascona's sleepy streets and more and more people searched for the source of the sounds. The owner of the restaurant recognized Deean's talent and hired him for a month against board and lodging. Every evening the courtyard filled with enthusiastic listeners. After this month, Deean chose the path of the artist and musician. To reassure his parents, Deean began studying at the ACM (Academy of Contemporary Music). Deean financed his studies with performances in piano bars all over Switzerland and was therefore very close to the audience from the beginning, learned to recognize the wishes in the eyes of the listeners and to respond to them. Over the years as a musician, his career has led him through many successes, but Deean has remained true to his line: inspiring the audience is one of his favorite tasks. Deean was educated at the ACM and has 15 years of teaching experience, both as a singing teacher, piano teacher, as well as a choir director and leader of band workshops. Over the past few years, he has written the teaching material: 'Contemporary Singing', which has already helped many singers on their way.Deean Discography

The gospel choir "Join Together" was looking for soloists, whereupon I was selected for an audition. The choir director suggested that I take a few singing lessons and recommended Deean. Thanks to the singing lessons at Deean, my solo was a complete success. Deean was very flexible and adjusted to what I wanted to work on. He quickly recognized where I need his instruction most, and gave me practical, rather than theoretical, tips. The fact that I was assigned another solo in the new concert program speaks for Deean's ability.
At Deean I get exactly the training I always wanted. After the new harmony theory without being able to play notes, to be able to derive and improvise every song is the greatest thing for me as a hobby producer. His whole style and musical background make him one of the most competent teachers in Switzerland for me. He knows how to motivate people and makes learning a joy for me.
Thanks to individual singing lessons, my voice is trained without changing its character. The beautiful studio atmosphere makes learning easier and I am motivated by honesty in praise and criticism. Deean is happy to pass on his music experience and can also support me in band matters.
I still remember what I felt after the first lesson at Deean - it couldn't be better. Through his musical competence, because he knows not only parts of music, but the whole spectrum, as well as his way of conveying, his appropriate analogies to individual elements, his feeling that he brings into the music and his flexibility, on the student completely For me, being able to respond individually is one of the best teachers for piano and singing. I wish every budding musician such a companion who always manages to look at the dry passages to be learned from different perspectives and thus makes it possible to fully identify with the music.
